Why the DNC's tactics and messaging failed to reach and resonate with enough voters

Hard Truths for the DNC
Every incumbent party around the globe that was in power when post-pandemic inflation began has lost, regardless of ideology and regardless of where inflation was at the moment of the election. Democrats now join that list.
Kamala Harris, with a couple exceptions, did not outperform Joe Biden in a single county that he won in 2020. And while California still has several million votes to count, it is looking likely she lost the popular vote too.
Despite lukewarm, but positive signs that the Harris/Walz campaign could achieve a widespread victory, the exact opposite result occurred.
It's time for some hard truths for the DNC.
The DNC’s Message Delivery is Outdated
Part of the reason democrats were so optimistic about a victory was due to a notable absence from the RNC in key battleground states. While the Harris campaign spent millions of dollars on what was deemed a one-of-a-kind GOTV ground game, Republicans were nowhere to be found.
Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign went online and very successfully identified an untapped voting demographic: young single men.
